My Digital Studio Fun

There's so much going on in the Stampin Up world!  Let's start with some My Digital Studio fun.  I saw a card like this in a magazine online and knew I could recreate it using MDS and my ecutter.

This is how the original card was done - and then I decided to add more color -

I just imported the Timeless Type Numbers punches into my ecutter's software and pushed a button!  That's fun!

Supplies
Stamp Set - Sassy Salutations
card stock - Basic Gray, Sunshine and Sprinkles DSP, (Marina Mist, Pacific Point, Delightful Daffodil, Lucky Limeade)
Etc - My Digital Studio (Timeless Type Numbers punches) corner rounder, Owl punch and Cupcake punches (for those little tiny circles!)

And there's FREE SHIPPING this weekend!  I've been with SU for 10 years and I think this is a first for me
It applies to any size order - big or small - so HAPPY SHOPPING!  Because you might want to stock on the retiring cardstock colors

Play Ball

This was inspired by my friend who is going to a baseball game this week - and hoping for some decent weather.  She's taking her brother and I thought a fun card to present the tickets would fit the bill.

I used Great Sport - and cased the front of my soccer card!

I love the lace tape in the spring mini!  It finishes the edges so nicely (and quickly!)

I just drew the lines for the baseball top - not sure that's exactly what one looks like, but you get the idea!

Supplies
Stamp Sets - Great Sport, That's the Ticket, A Word for You
Card stock - Real Red, Marina Mist, Polka Dot DSP, Whisper White, Sahara Sand
Ink - Real Red, Marina Mist
Etc - Pop N Cuts Base die and Dress Form insert, Dress Up Framelits, Delicate Lace Tape, Ticket Punch, 1 1/4 circle punch, 2 1/2 circle punch, Dazzling Details, 1/4 circle punch, Striped embossing folder

Delightful Dozen Mothers Day

This card came together from a group of pieces that were in my stamping "pile!"  I had a dress form that I had already stamped and then changed my mind, a butterfly that was a left over from a project and several doilies that had been used to spritz another card.  Put them together and you get this!

This is the card that I used the doilies to spritz the front.  It's a case of one that Donna Griffith did at a stamping demo.  So the Doilies were already very saturated with Shimmer Mist before I even started!  I just turned the center one over so it was solid.

The dress form had some of the Lace tape in the Spring Mini on the front - then sponged over and removed.  En Francais was stamped over the entire piece.

Fabulous Flourishes was stamped on the background using Stampin Write Markers.  Then I used Crystal Effects on the Not Quite Navy flowers to make them pop.

Supplies

Stamp Sets - Delightful Dozen, Papaya Collage, En Francais, Netting, Fabulous Flourishes
Cardstock - Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Not Quite Navy
Ink - Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
Stampin Write Markers - Early Espresso, Not Quite Navy
Etc - Dress Form Framelits, Doilies dies, Artisan kit (button) Lace tape, Crystal Effects, black twine, Platinum shimmer spray

All typos are my cat's fault.  He has decided that he must sit on my arms while I type!  Hugs, Fran

Happy Easter

The Easter Bunny got up early to set the table for brunch   These little bunny boxes are sitting at everyone's place - don't they look cute?  The tutorial came from UStamp with Dawn and Friends Big Shor Roundup and were designed by Teresa Giordano and are made with the Petite Purse die and lots of punches.  Very clever!  Thanks, Teresa - they add the perfect touch to my table today!.  I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!  Hugs, Fran

Floating Framelits

This is a case of a project that the amazing Karen Burniston did for UStamp with Dawn and Friends Big Shot Roundup.  A Floating Framelits card - with a Dress Form embellishment, of course!  I used the Window Framelit - which didn't work quite as well as the Label Framelit she used - but is still fun.  You can find the instructions over at UStamp.

Supplies
Stamp Set - Wonderful Mother
cardstock - Whisper White, Tea for Two Designer Series paper
Ink - Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake
Etc - Pop N Cuts Base die, Windows Framelits, Dress Up Framelit, Flower Trim, 1 1/4 and 1 3/4 circle punches

I'm going to start cooking today for Easter I'm having my 3 children and several friends for the weekend so I think I'd best get a few things finished.  And of course, we're scrappin' tonight!  I can't wait!  Hugs, Fran

This and That Products

Now THIS is exciting!  Here are the products in the new This and That bundle.  Check out the cute rotary stamp.  And yes, I used a marker to ink it up and test it out and it's great!  It has cute sayings and a movable date.  The journal is deeply etched with a hexagon design and is made of very heavy chipboard.  Very heavy!  You could put this in your bag and it would be fine.

The journal has two pocket pages -   one in front and one in back - and has two decorative envelopes.  And it has awesome paper inside it!  Not to mention there is an entire package of 12 x 12 paper to go with it - or to stand on it's own!

There are four sheets of stickers - lots of designs to use from pennants to journaling blocks to just really cute designs.

And Washi tape!  Cute, cute, cute!  That's my review and it's a two thumbs up!  Hugs, Fran

Wonderful Mother

Comfort Cafe - such pretty Designer Series paper!  Are you starting to think about the patterns that will retire - and stocking up on those you HAVE to have?  This is one of mine!  I used a Sizzix Accordion Flip die to make this album and the yummy Comfort Cafe DSP!  This is how it looks closed.  I cut through the first two layers with the Heart framelits - another love!  The Cajun Craze heart is floating - on fishing line, of course

I used a line of Basic Pearls to outline the heart.

A window sheet stamped in Whisper White Craft ink - Netting - for one of the see through panels!

Fabulous Phrases in the tiniest heart - and some Cajun Craze ink.

And the beautiful sentiment from Wonderful Mother - it's just perfect!  Plus a Cute Clip - hearts all over the place!

Supplies
Stamp Sets - Fabulous Phrases, Wonderful Mother
card stock - Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Comfort Cafe Designer Series paper
Ink - Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Whisper White craft
Etc - Hearts Framelits, Cute Clips, 1 3/4 circle punch, pearls, window sheet, Soft Suede taffeta ribbon, fishing line, Sizzix Accordion Flip die

Start making a list of the Designer Series papers you want now - and you'll beat the rush in May.  (And put this one on your list!)  Hugs, Fran
