Bunnies are still playing on my desk! This is based of the SFYTT (Sketch for You To Try) and I used Everybunny. The balloon is paper pieced with Twitterpatted DSP.

I've had several comments and emails wanting the directions for the roof on the Bird Houses from yesterday. Here's how I made it -
Scallop the 11" side of a piece of Riding Hood Red using the Scallop Edge punch. Cut the scallops off so it measures 3/8."
Cut a piece of Riding Hood Red 1 3/4 x 3 1/2. Score at 1 3/8, 1 3/4 and 2 1/8. (This is the base of the roof.)
Sponge the scalloped edge and the score lines on the roof base. Apply snail all the way down the back of the scalloped strip.
Adhere the scalloped edge to thebottom of the roof base and cut off the remaining.
Keep going - all the way up to the first score line. Now repeat the process on the other side of the roof (you'll need to make another scalloped edge strip.) Leave the scored area "unscalloped!"
Attach one side of the roof to the milk carton - leave one side unglued so it will open. The mini clothespin will keep it shut.
Hope this helps. If you need more info let me know. Hugs, Fran
Little birdhouses filled with sunflower seeds - it's spring! I made up lots of these for my team meeting today and thought I'd share with you the different ways they came out. I ended up with 3 different styles - total accident.
From left to right - made with the striped embossing folder, scored with the Simply Scored board and last, but not least, the roof on backwards (only did this once!) Here's a close up of the difference between the score board and embossing folder
I made half of them one way and half the other. To make the tags, I simply punched the seed packet with the Word Window punch! How nice of it to fit!
Supplies Card stock - Crumb Cake, Riding Hood Red, Bashful Blue, Garden Green Ink - Crumb Cake, Bashful Blue Etc - Chocolate Chip Stampin Write Marker, spritzer, Milk Carton Die, Scallop Edge punch, 1" circle punch, acetate, Word Window punch, Bird punch, mini clothespin, Striped embossing folder or Simply Scored.
I still had a few pieces left over from Established Elegance so I put what I had left to use and created this -
You can kind of see inside - I had a scrap of the Beau Chateau DSP left so I put it on the inside since I only had one Top Die stamped. And that uses up my scraps! The supplies are the same with the exception of the base - it's Pink Pirouette. Easiest card in the world since all the stamping was already finished! Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
Bordering on Romance is one of my favorite sets in the Occasions Mini. I cased this card from a swap card I received from Candy Rattray. I changed a few things - but kept the basic layout and the colors - I just love the colors!
I am currently using up various pieces that, for one reason or another, weren't used on projects but were kept in pile! (Does this happen to you?) One piece was a daisy made from the Daisy #2 Big Shot die. I paired it with the upcoming Summer Smooches DSP. Demonstrators were able to pre-order it in March - cool! This DSP (and the suite that goes with it) will be available to you the month of April as a sneak peak purchase for the new Idea Book! (Don't forget that the current catalog is ending May 31st!)
The fabric brads are so nice - and they will only be available in April! The color is wonky in the close up but I used More Mustard, Delightful Daffodil and So Saffron to make the daisy.
Supplies Stamp Set - Pursuit of Happiness card stock - Delightful Daffodil smooth and textured, More Mustard, So Saffron, Island Indigo, Whisper White, Summer Smooches DSP Ink - Basic Black Etc - Scallop Trim punch, Daisy #2 die, sewing machine, Summer Smooches brad
I love to give gift cards - especially Starbucks gift cards - and Morning Cup is perfect for these!
To make this gift card holder you will need a piece of Tangerine Tango card stock 3 3/4 x 7 1/2 scored at 2 1/2 and 5 1/2. Tri-fold the card stock and cut an angle on the inside piece. (I cut from 1 1/2 to the corner.) Glue the bottom only - or you can use Sticky Strip.
Supplies Stamp sets - Morning Cup, Friendly Phrases card stock - Tangerine Tango,Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White Ink - Jet Black Stazon Stampin Write Markers - So Saffron, Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, Island Indigo
Looks like I need a few more Starbucks gift cards! Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
