Purple Tea
Happy New Years! Can you believe it - it's 2012! I hope everyone had a joyous and safe New Years Eve. I played around with some of my new stamps and came up with this card using Tea Shoppe from the upcoming Occasions mini. It also features the new Doily die.
Supplies
Stamp set - Tea Shoppe
card stock - Concord Crush, Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White, Concord Crush DSP
Ink - Versamark
Stampin Write Markers - Concord Crush, Wisteria Wonder
Etc - White embossing powder, Concord Crush ribbon, Doily die, Oval punch
This is one of those card that I like the "idea" better than the card itself. But as The Grinch says - "That's what these tests are for!" I hope the first day of the New Year is wonderful - and wish you 364 more just like it. Hugs, Fran

Fran, my favorite color...I'll have to try it out. Love the set...How was it to do the Doily die. Any problems?

Hi Marge - the Doily die worked well for me. I think I used one tab and put a card stock shim under it. It's so delicate looking and has so many small pieces- but once I fooled around with it and got it to cut all the way through - it worked without a hitch! (Try it - you'll like it!) Hugs, Fran
