Nature's Pace

I love to read but am forever forgetting the titles of books.  This is a bookmark or a journaling tag - or both!  My original thought is that you could use it to make note of the books you've read and then add it to a page.  I used Nature's Pace and a piece of chipboard from On Board Merry Medley.

The DSP is a lined pieced from Beau Chateau layered onto a piece of Pink Pirouette.  Stamp the bee image onto Very Vanilla and color it with Stampin Write Markers.  Glue it to the chipboard with Tombow Multipurpose glue, sand it and sponge the edges.

Stamp the image again and the sentiment across the bottom.

Supplies
Stamp Set - Nature's Pace
card stock - Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette, Beau Chateau DSP
Ink - Pink Pirouette, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
Stampin WRite Markers - Pink Pirouette, Crumb Cake
Etc - On Board Merry Medley chipboard, Crumb Cake seam binding, Crop a dile

Tomorrow is the first day of school!  (Can you believe it?)  My youngest will be a senior in high school!  Yep, I'm feeling old!

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Great idea! Your coloring of this piece is so delicate. I've noticed you have such a light touch when coloring, it always looks so soft. Do you use a blender pen or just water?
