Covered Lollipops

I got to spend a little bit of time this weekend working on some treats for my youngest to take to school and give to her friends for Valentines Day.  These are the Tootsie Roll Lollipops in the Valentine wrappers - cherry flavored - and the color matches the Regal Rose card stock.  I made them in Regal Rose and Rose Red using the Sweet Celebrations stamp set.

Cut your card stock 2 x 6 and score at 1/2", 2 1/2". 3 1/2" and 5 1/2."  Use the smaller hole punch in your crop o dile to punch the holes in each end of the card stock (the middle of the 1/2" ends)  Insert the stick through one hole and gently push the stick through the second hole - it's a bit like getting a ship in a bottle, but once you do one you'll understand what I mean!  You really don't need adhesive but I did put some on one of the flaps before I pushed the stick through.  Punch a scallop and layer the layers onto it and adhere to the front.  You could really dress these up if you want - if you're not handing them out to kids!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Just what I was looking for to give to my customers. I bought heart shaped lollipops. Love your idea. Looking for a 8 1/2 X 11 Valentine scrapbook page, customer request for a workshop. I will try the set "Always".
    Thanks,
    Marge

The lollipop covering is really cute. This even increases the demand of lollipops also..The transparent covering will more suitable for lollipops which gives clear idea about inside lollipops...
