This technique is an oldie but a goodie!  To make this Crayon Resist background you take a piece of Glossy cardstock (do not use photo paper - it doesn't work, trust me!) and stamp with Basic Black Ink.  In this sample I used a 3.75 x 5  piece of Glossy and stamped with the small flower from Time Well Spent.  Let the ink dry or use you heat tool to speed up the process.  Take a white crayon and color the areas that you wish to highlight.  Ink up your brayer (Certainly Celery) and brayer over the Glossy cardstock - reinking until you've reached the color that you want.  Then take a tissue or cotton ball and wipe over the cardstock making sure to remove the white crayon.  Your highlighting appears!  It's very fun!

To finish this card I matted the Glossy paper on Regal Rose ( 4 x 5.25) and then adhered a piece of Ribbon Original to the front and taped it to the back.  This piece goes on a Rose Red card.  To make the butterfly, I stamped it on a piece of Whisper White and colored it in with an Almost Amethyst Stampin' Write Marker.   I cut this out then I pushed it in to a Versamark pad and covered it with Heat and Stick Powder.  You only need to heat the powder for a few seconds - it melts very quickly!  Dump some Dazzling Diamond over it - shake off the excess - and re heat for a few more seconds. I popped it up on Dimensionals on top of the layers sentiment from Sincere Salutations (my favorite all around sentiment set!)
