More Paper Trees

I've had several questions about how much paper it takes to make these paper trees.  The answer is - well, it depends on how many different patterns you're going to use.  On this one I used 6 patterns of the Dashing DSP.  (One of the patterns is the flip side of another - so technically I used 7)  I didn't use all of any of the paper - not sure if that helps you!  Each piece is cut 1" x 4" and pinned to the Styrofoam cone with quilting pins.  If someone does one using only one pattern of paper, you'll have to let us know exactly how much paper you used!

This one uses a little cone - and the base is a cute little bucket from the $1 rack at Michaels!  On the big ones I put styrofoam in the pot and inserted a skewer up through the cone.  On the little one, I simply used Crystal Effects to glue the cone to the top of the bucket.  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran
