Star box

I'm still working on table favors for my mother!  This one is a star box - pattern here - that I cut down to make shorter.  I used Very Vanilla as the background card stock and covered it with the Dashing Designer Series Paper.  The tag is Real Red punched with the scallop punch, some more Dashing and the circle from Circle of Friends.  The Real Red grosgrain is tied to the box and I used a piece of gold cord to tie the tag to the ribbon.  And after all that - it's still too tall! So it's back to the drawing board for this one!  But just know that I kept all the dimensions the same except the height.  So if you'd like to try to make a smaller one with me - just cut down the height and play along!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Love it, Fran! I like yours better than the tall one. TFS
(P.S. Up 'til 1 am this morning making the Reindeer Food topper you shared - my food has red glitter - so cute! TFS that, too.)

i like the height, at least what i can tell by the picture. seems like it would hold a pillar candle nicely, or a pound bag of coffee or Christmas cookies stacked vertically. happy recreating, though! thanks for sharing...i'm going to give this a try!
