It's The Little Things
Do you notice details? Not my strong point! This is a card I made using a really fun set called Fabulous Floral from Verve Visual. I'm still stuck on the Purely Pomagranite, Old Olive and Pretty in Pink color combo! I thought this card was "okay" and just set it aside while I worked on other things. After a bit, I went back and redid the card (and I very rarely "redo!") trying to take it up a notch by adding a few more details. Here's what I came up with -
I added the Floral background and mounted the front panel on to a piece of Basic Black. I also switched the stamp for the panel to one that better compliments the focal point (or so I think!). Here they are side by side -
The camera really washes out the Pretty in Pink! So what do you think? Better or not? Hugs, Fran
Both are beautiful!! I'm not a very good person to ask, because I love the most simple cards...to the most highly decorated. The floral background does give a nice touch of elegance, though (which I love). Great job with the new set!

What a difference a little back and punching makes. I loved the first one but the revised is awesome....just pops!

Oh, these are gorgeous, Fran! Yummy colors and design! I love the floral background addition - gives it so much elegance.
