Sweet Snail

This card was made for the sketch challenge on Splitcoast.  Actually the idea was better than the card!  The snail is from Garden Whimsy and is stamped in River Rock.  I dry embossed the scallop around him and then cut it out and layered it on an Artichoke scallop.  I also dry embossed the Old Olive cardstock and highlighted the embossing with pastels.  The sentiment is from the new stamp set at Verve Visuals and is punched out with the Word Window punch and accented with a flower from the Pretties Kit.  The edge of the River Rock cardstock has faux stitching highlighted with the gel pen.  In the end I added glitter around the edge of the Old Olive cut out - which looked better but wouldn't photograph.  I'll try again tomorrow in the daylight.  Tough critics around here - my daughter's comment was "Is it suppose to look like that?"
