Two cards, One b'day

My dad's having a birthday this weeekend!  here's one card - a bit more "grown up" using Baroque Motif and Delight in Life.  The ribbon is 7 Gypsys'.  Some hodgepodge and rhinestone brad (love 'em!) are used for some accents. The chipboard "d" was inked up in Craft Old Olive and then stamped in Craft Chocolate Chip.

This one is on the lighter side.  The monkeys are from Zoofari and the sentiment is from It's Your Birthday.  Here's the inside -

The sentiment is the retired Edgy Eloquence.  The cardstock is Soft Sky and River Rock with a little strip of the DSP Cerise. I'm sure he'll enjoy both ('cause he has to!) Hugs, Fran

I love the elegance of your "grown up" card! The hardware, ribbon, and chipboard are such lovely choices!

Your second card is just so cute! I love the peek-a-boo holes, the colors, and sentiment! I also love how you stamped the monkey on each of the numbers so perfectly!

Happy birthday to your Dad! Wonderful cards!
