Filmstrip Layout

Here's the layout that we did at scrap club this month.  To make the "film strip" at the bottom you start with a 3" strip of cardstock and measure in 3/4" and draw  a line (in pencil!).  Line up your 1 3/8" square punch and punch the strip - lining up each square with the previous one punched.  Then use the spiral punch to punch along the top and the bottom.  This is a great way to use lots of photos on a layout - but you can also fill the squares with Designer Series paper or journaling.

This is the same layout using the scallop punch at the bottom - I wish I had added the spiral punch again for texture.  The paper is the awesome Cutie Pie DSP - so cute!  The background is rolled with the Doodles jumbo wheel.  You have to just love those jumbo wheels for the quick and easy background paper they make!  The flowers are from the Three For You Punch Box - which will be part of the August Special!  Wonderful!  Have fun scrappin'!  Hugs, Fran
