In Full Bloom
I'm so sad to see In Full Bloom on the retiring stamps list! This card is one of my favorites for single images. You might not be able to tell it from the scan, but the card is made from a transparency. Cut the 8.5 x 11 transparency in half - just like you cut your cardstock for a "regular" card - and fold it in half. You need to go slightly easier with you bone folder on transparencies than cardstock so you don't scratch the film. Stamp your sentiment in the bottom right hand corner with Jet Black Stazon. You may want to try this on a scrap first. It takes just a little practice to get the image on without sliding. I usually brace my hand before stamping.
The Confetti White cardstock is cut at 2 3/4 x 2 1/2 and stamped with the single flower and stem in Jet Black Stazon. Use your Aquapainter to pick up ink on the lid of your Classic Ink Stamp pad to watercolor the flower and stem. The next layer for matting is cut a 3 x 2 3/4 - and the final matt is 3 1/4 x 3. Adhere to the cardfront using 4 mini glue dots - one in each corner.
You'll need to make an inner square to stamp and/or write your note. Cut another piece of Confetti White 3 x 2 3/4 and mat in on a cardstock piece that is 3 1/4 x 3. Use the glue dots again to place this piece on the inside - directly behind the front piece.
Tie a piece of Black Gingham ribbon around the card near the fold. Voila! You have a beautiful, clear card! Wouldn't this be beautiful in a Clear Envelope?
