Today I want to share with you some cards done by the very talented ladies on my stampin team.  We had a get together this weekend and these are some of the creations they brought with them.

First up is Shelley 's card.  It's bright and sunny using the lovely Greenhouse Gala DSP.

Kat  used the new Aviary set - what a cute card!

Janine made a matchbook card.  I love little cards!

And Carla made this lovely card.  (and you can find her music here !)

Beautiful cards for a beautiful day!  Hugs, Fran

Sneek Peek Boo

Sneek Peek from the Holiday Mini!  The Big Shot Candy Wrapper die is going to be so much fun!  Say after me "Pull, push, twist, smoosh."  That's how the ends are done.  Here's one in a Halloween design using the Halloween rub ons and new Halloween DSP from the Mini.

Same thing using Perfect Punches and Jolly Holiday DSP -

And for some more Halloween fun - here's a layout using the Halloween rub ons from the Mini -

And for the gals who came to this month's Scrapbooking 101 - yes, this is the same layout done for Halloween   Hugs, Fran

Just Believe

My computer is running oh so slow this morning.....sigh.  I think I will speed things up by showing you several of the projects I did for the convention display boards at once.  If I try to do them one at a time we will be here all day!  So here are some of the cards using the new set Just Believe.

This is my favorite card and the worse picture!  Seriously - this card is made with Cherry Cobbler card stock!  The flower image is stamped in Versamark on the Newsprint DSP, heat embossed and brayered.

Stamp Set - Just Believe
card stock - Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler(really, it is!) Very Vanilla, Newsprint DSP
Ink - Versamark, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black
ect - Petals a Plenty embossing folder, Hodgepodge hardware, clear embossing powder, Designer Label Large punch

This one really sparkles in real life!  I inked the flower image in Early Espresso and then used a dauber to apply the Shimmer Paint before I stamped it.  The Log Cabin Smooch Spritz adds even more sparkle.

Stamp Set - Just Believe
card stock - Early Espresso, Soft Suede texture, Very Vanilla
Ink - Early Espresso
ect - Early Espresso taffeta, Vanilla Hodgepodge, Small oval punch, Log Cabin Smooch Spritz, Champagne Shimmer Mist

The wheel is a sneak peek from the upcoming Holiday Mini!  And you have to LOVE the Presto DSP - ink it up for any color you need!
(The ribbon is really White Satin that is inked in Daffodil Delight but I'm calling it the real thing!)

Stamp Sets - Just Believe (sentiment), Pick a Petal, Paisley Party wheel
card stock - Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Presto DSP
Ink - Pink Pirouette, Basic Black, Pink Pirouette cartridge
ect - Dots embossing folder, Two-Step Bird punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Black brads, Daffodil Delight Satin ribbon

Very Chic Thanks

Here's one of the cards I did for the Convention display board this year.  This card uses Chich Boutique and Thanks So Much.

card stock - Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze, Early Espresso, Whisper White
ink - Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
SWM - Early Espresso, Real Red
ect - Scallop Edge punch, Silver Hodgepodge, Top Note Die, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder

Keep in mind as I show you some of these displays - there wasn't any current DSP (which was a huge challenge for me!) and I used lots of embossing folders!  Hugs, Fran

A Few More Cases

No Daffodil ribbon in the house - not even a scrap!  What's a stamper to do when she's casing all her favorites from the catalog?  The card on page 136 needs that touch of Daffodil!  So......

Stamp Sets - Tart and Tangy, Favorite Things
card stock - Melon Mambo texture, Peach Parfait, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Ink - Versamark, Peach Parfait
ect - Curly Label Punch, Scallop Edge punch, piercer and grid, Clear embossing powder, 1 3/8 square punch

I think I'll be using this design over and over - it's too easy to adjust to any occasion!

Stamp Set - Perfect Punches
card stock - Soft Suede textured,Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Rose Red
Ink - Soft Suede
ect - Itty Bitty punch, Scallop Trim Punch, Piercer and grid, Wide Oval punch

Maybe tomorrow I'll share some things that I didn't case!!  Hugs, Fran

Magnet Board

Pear Pizzazz must be a very hot color this season because I found a magnet board at an office supply store with a Pear Pizzazz frame!  I added a piece of Greenhouse Gala DSP with Pumpkin Pie ribbon crisscrossed over it and ended up with this -

Before I slid the paper under the edges I put Vanilla Hodgepodge brads through the ribbon.

The magnets that came with the board were just clear plastic so I stamped the round image from Baroque Motif onto Baja Breeze, Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz and Chocolate Chip card stock, punched them out and put a small Vanilla brad through the center.  Using Crystal Effects, I glue down the card stock to the magnets, let it dry completely and then carefully coated the tops with Crystal Effects.  I let them dry overnight (well hidden from my cat!)

My youngest has claimed it!  Hugs, Fran

On a Pedestal

I've been goofing around caseing samples from the new catty - and it's fun!  I only check with the supply list when I'm really, really stuck so sometimes I come up with things that are totally "wrong" and yet, uniquely mine!  I love the sample on page 55 using On a Pedestal.  Here is my first take on it - it's pretty close to the original.

Stamp Set - On a Pedestal
card stock - Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip, Pacific Point, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip DSP (retired)
ink - Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie
SWM - Riding Hood Red
ect - Scallop Square punch, Riding Hood Red button (retired), linen thread, Tiny Tag punch. Pumpkin Pie grosgrain ribbon. Dots embossing folder.

My next take on the same card is for a birthday tomorrow!  Need is a great way to get me creating!

Stamp sets - On a Pedestal, Afterthoughts, First Day, Itty Bitty Bits
card stock - Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise
Ink - Early Espresso, Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight
ect - Dots embossing folder, Melon Mambo ribbon (retired), Scallop edge punch, Square Scallop punch, Tiny Tag punch, Tempting Turquoise button, Itty Bitty Shapes punch

So case away!  Hugs, Fran

Just Because I Care

Happy New Stampin Year!

The hostess sets in the new catalog are wonderful - I want them all! This level 1 set is called Because I Care and is simply beautiful.

The embossing folder on this card is the new Vintage Wallpaper folder.  I've being going a bit overboard with these folders lately!

Stamp set - Just Because I Care, En Francais (retired)
Ink - Early Espresso
SWM - Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Certainly Celery
Card stock - Crumb Cake, Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Ect - Kraft taffeta ribbon, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder

For this one I had to dye some White taffeta ribbon with Bashful Blue ink - because I am out matching ribbon.  I just held the ribbon onto my Bashful Blue ink pad with a sponge dauber and pulled it across the pad until it was saturated.  Then I pull it through paper towels until the color quits coming off and hit with a heat gun.

Stamp Sets - Because I Care, En Fracais (retired)
Ink - Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
SWM - Bashful Blue, Marina Mist, Old Olive, Certainly Celery
Card stock - Bashful Blue, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla
Ect - White taffeta ribbon (dyed Bashful Blue), Vanilla Hodgepodge, Square Lattice Embossing Folder
